New Wedding Vido DOF

Hey guys (and gals :),

http://touchdream.com/blog/?p=126

I was wondering if any of you would take the time to critique my new video edit. This is a downtown photo sessions scene and not a music video. So the music might not be everyones taste, but I really like the style... different. This is our first video with the redrock 35mm adapter (DOF) and our new wide angle lens.

Please if anyone has any comments lemme know.
Thanks.

Dave,
Very beautiful video... I liked your style throughout and you set up some pretty cool shots.
I liked the colors also, they seemed to flow well throughout.

If I had to change some things...

- I would do my best to get rid of the clips where you can see the camera/camera man...
The photographer to me is ok because it helps tell a story... but for some reason video
equipment just looks awkward.
- I would think about condensing the video and using only the very best shots. You have
some beautiful things going on in your video... but it dragged on just a little for me..
- Some of your shots looked out of focus...

just my 2 cents... I think the B&G and their friends and family will love this video.

Thanks

Thanks Stephen for your input. The reason it dragged alittle is because this is just the downtown session without anything else. I agree with you about the videographers in the shot... but sometimes we just cant stay out of the way! ;)

Some of the shots were made to be out of focus and it becomes in focus... but this is our first time using the adapter so we still have much to learn.

Thanks again.
