The look of the reception .. unfortunately .. is entirely due to my assistant camera op. My usual op wasn't available so this guy was new. Long story short, his reception footage was SEVERELY underexposed ... like .. what's a stronger word than SEVERELY? d;-)
Anyways, so I had to start with his footage and get something that looked presentable, then turn around and adjust MY footage to look the same way. It was really frustrating but sometimes you do what you have to do. Glad you like the first meeting thing. We've been doing that for like 5-6 years now and it's awesome. We actually made it our policy this past year .. so no more photosessions between the ceremony and reception. Sooo nice. Oh, and my back agrees with you on the Merlin drop shots! Thanks for watching and for the comments!! |
