Wedding back in November

Ok I'm taking the plunge and have decided to post one of my latest highlights clip on here to get a professional opinion.

I showed it to the bride and groom for the first time last night and they were over the moon with it.

I have added no filters just ploughed through with some primary colour correction to balance shot to shot, but must admit that I am still getting to grips with this and the setting the correct contrast etc.

I would really appreciate some of your comments.

Thanks
David

Re: Wedding back in November

Looks great David. Where in West Sussex are you? ;)

The main thing i would pick up on is the steadicam control, seems a little off to me, a little adds effect, but perhaps a bit too much shakey/unwanted panning action? The footage itself looks lovely and clean, well focused and i enjoyed the pace and feel of the highlight.

So, c'mon, whats the kit?

Cheers.

Re: Wedding back in November

Thanks for the comments.
We filmed using a 5dii with 24-70 on the stedicam and also a 70-200 for ceremony any some of the speeches. We also had a Sony hdv (tbh I've forgotten the name) which was used for the groom preps.
I tried to keep as much of the footage in the highlight clip from the 5dii to make the matching a bit easier and more pleasing to the eye.
However for the next wedding we've got a 7d for the 2nd cam which should be easier to mix.
I agree with the stedicam footage. Might need a bit more practice. Is it likely to be a bit easier to control with a lighter lens like the 24mm L.
Thanks again

We are around Crawley area, so have some lovely venues.
