First Wedding Highlights

We were the photographers at this wedding and the couple wanted video, and we are wanting to learn the video end so added it at the last minute.

Going to rehearsel we found out we were not allowed beyond the first step so no way to get behind the couple and only way to realy film it was from the back and the little balcony on left side of the church. We did have a Canon HV20 on a tripod behind the organist to capture some of the brides expressions.

Again the photography was the main job, but here is a highlights clip

Open for ideas on how to improve.

Good Job!

Good Job! Amazing Colors, What were the other two cameras?

A couple of things:

Hold your shorter shots in your edits for longer times; seems jumpy.

Take the disolve transition out halfway through; its the only one you use and it doesn't seem right.

Use more of the vows, this is good, and edit your sound so the song completely fades out during the vows.

What song was that?

Thanks, I know there are lots of problems, and many can be fixed as I have lots of footage. The wedding was 2 days ago so just playing yet.

The song is "In this moment" by Big & Rich
The other 2 cameras were Canon XH A1's

I really have a hard time with this audio, there were 2 preachers, one very soft the other almost screaming, so most of the audio is hard to use because he is sooo much louder than the rest.

Thanks for the tips and I will put them to use.

I just learned how to seperate the Audio tracks so I can get the lavalier audio and cut down the shotgun audio. Makes the vows audio really good.
