Reducing File Sizes?

I just got done with my first dance recital, and I shot with 2 cameras for 2 identical shows. I have a total of 12 tapes and all are full. I am capturing with Cineform HD (Premier Pro) and this is eating up hard drives.

My plan is to start from the first dance and use all 4 views to get the best possible combination and move down through each dance.

Once I get so far, is there a way I can save that merged file and delete those AVI files that are eathing up all my space. If I can how would you recomend me saving it. Do I export it to encore and just save it for the finished project.

I am not sure the best file format or quality to save this merged section so I can delete all the unused files if this makes any sense.

Any information would be appreciated.
