DV multirig Pro & Sima light

big thanks to Don Bloom et al for their recommendations

After a quick search and some pondering I ordered my DV multirig Pro - what great little unit!

My first tryout was ANZAC day and it's a dream to use, I've just got to work on a few things but I can see this being a permanent fixture to my camera. I even used it on my tripod to support a Raynox telephoto lens with the shoulder mount swivelled round to the front.

and the Sima light - wow! another search for 'on camera light' bought this up and I'm gobsmacked, I'll be ordering another 3 ASAP. there were comments about a green or blue tinge but mine is decidedly warm - it pretty well matches (but is brighter than) my Bescor LED with the CTO filter on.

These additions are going to make my next wedding a LOT easier.
