Hi Guys

Down under there are no such thing anymore as Registry Office ceremonies...people can train here to become "celebrants" which gives them the legal right to marry as well as do other ceremonies that people want.

Most are really nicely done as well and last a good 20 minutes..with readings and songs as well and it's very tasteful. Nice and easy for us too as nature provides the lighting but the mid -Summer ones end up very contrastly (and sweaty) Our extremely annoying tiny "bush flies" here are also a menace in early Summer and I had a December ceremony with (it seemed like anyway) about 1 billion extra guests sitting on the bride's face and dress and crawling all over your face. (An absolute nightmare in Photoshot for the Photographers!!)

I probably do 60% of my season as civil outdoor ceremonies!!! However, in maybe the last 4 seasons I only had 2 "quickies" that were less than 10 minutes!!
