A bit of HUGE news for us.

We just relaunched our brand new blog (with our new branding) today and it also unveils the details of some pretty HUGE news. Check it out. It's pretty crazy.

I'll bet the market in Miami is a tad bigger than Boise. Best of luck to you Travis!

Nice blog/branding too

Travis Cossel April 13th, 2010 12:35 PM

Indeed it is, Art. d;-) One of the top reasons we're relocating. Thanks for the comment on the branding. We can't wait to incorporate it into our website and everything else.

Did you hire out for the branding or do it youself? I'm talking to someone now who has a package for around $1500. It initially sounded steep to me but they do good work so I might take the plunge.

Make sure you have Hurricane insurance ;)

Well, I have a graphic design background so I'm used to doing most of the design, but with all the planning and research for the relocation I just couldn't seem to get anywhere with our branding. So yeah, we hired it out:

Luxecetera | Branding, Templates for Photographers, and Fine Wedding and Personal Stationery

It was tough to spend that money since we're saving so much for the relocation costs, but it was worth every penny in the end. By the way, $1,500 sounds about right.

For sure! Funny thing is all my life I've shook my head at people who willingly chose to live in hurricane areas. Now I'm joining them. Life's little ironies ....

Congrats. It's always a hard decision to make a move like that but I'm sure everything will work out just fine for you, besides, unless you were in love with snow and cold just the weather alone can make it an easy decision to make.

Sun, sand, surf, South Beach how can you go wrong. Best to you!

Travis Cossel April 13th, 2010 04:41 PM

lol .. we definitely fell out of love with snow and cold and gray skies for 9 months of the year. Thanks for the well-wishes, Don. d;-)

Travis...

I wish you guys the best of luck in your new location. As someone who just moved from the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area, I'm a bit jealous... With any luck my job will allow my wife and I to move back down there next summer.

Steve

Travis Cossel April 13th, 2010 06:07 PM

Thanks, Stephen. Sorry you had to move, but when you're back next summer we should meet up for lunch or something.

Stephen J. Williams April 13th, 2010 07:47 PM

yeah me too... I would love to meet up. I'll keep that in mind! Good luck once again.
Steve

A HUGE congrats to the 4 of you!
Hope your little family enjoys the journey that faith takes you on.
It's kinda crazy where we find our lives headed at times but that's all part of the thrill eh?
:o)
All the best to you and we love your new blog setup.
