Okay this is crazy. Like Santo, I've had like 6 corrupted files from yesterday's wedding! On 7D and bought the CF from the same eBay seller! :( :(

Luckily, we shot with multiple cams so I\'m safe.. but its really making me concerned now if this happens again in crucial moment in the future.. This CF will probably go on eBay too...

That Treasured program is a bit expensive for me.. Is there any other way?

1800memory is actually one of the recommended ebay seller for genuine sandisk cf cards..

I also got another 3 corrupted files on the same card on the next shoot I had last time so I just assume it was a bad card and just not using it... $220 down the drain... will just use it for family videos... I think I will start to buy kingston cards from now on....

I actually want to try the bad card on a 5D and see if it produces the same result... not on wedding of course... for home video stuff...

Wow.. if its becoming that regular, then I won\'t definitely use this card again for wedding! My Kingston has been proven to be reliable so far.. never had issue with it.

If I were Mr. Sandisc, I would be looking for some \'funny stuff\' here. Sandisc is at the top with respect to quality. I smell a rat. Maybe someone has been doing some CF card printing. As long as you print them, you might as well use the top name.

I have experienced these issue on 2 weddings now and have used Treasured with great success - cost about $150 - worth it for me as footage was very important.

I will be sending my cards back to Sandisk for a warranty claim.

I now wonder if we should be buying the pro version of Sandisk CF instead?

hi marcus, i have tried treasured with no luck. i have also sent the card to two professional card recovery companies in sydney with no luck. they say it might have been the camera failure, which I believe is right. i have since then switched to using all 5Ds.

I have yet another corrupted files last week but I haven\'t really tried Treasured to see if it helped. I might give it a shot..

But if Santo\'s solution is correct... it might be a good excuse to upgrade to 5D... hehehe :P

Have you had anymore issues?

Im very sure that 7d was the problem. and only with 32gb cards sandisk. 16gb were fine.

I have tried to professional and established companies in sydney to recover it, no result.. they gave up... but this one works for LESS MONEY!

I highly doubt it\'s 7D. It may not be fake cards but it could be one of those cards that was created not with 100% precision.

A new firmware recently came out for 7D as well if I am not mistaken. I haven\'t updated it but did you? Could be that too...and it\'s relationship with the card
