Re: to intimidate with pricing or not?

Mine sucks, it's old, and it looks it. Type is too small, too much hyperbole, the list goes on, no new sample for a year or two. Come downtime I'm demolishing the entire site and starting fresh with my DSLR samples.

Re: to intimidate with pricing or not?

I put up what my Editing Packages start at for months March-Nov. $2900. I don't put everything up online because what if it's a wedding on a day you know you probably won't book, a destination wedding that you'd offer to go down on to book ? You can than change your prices accordingly to the location or date of the event. I get more inquiries now without my prices and now I have the option of charging more for weddings that seem like so much more work or they are a venue I've done too many times, so then I will charge more. My clients only have to send me one email with the date, locations and how many people are going to attend to get all my pricing info. Its not that hard. Having your prices up does weed out the people who can't afford you, but I have booked clients who at first couldn't afford me, but really liked my style and me as a person so they pulled it together. Having your prices up could also lose you clients too.
