Re: Camera choice

has anyone actually tested the 2 cameras together (xa10 and ac90)? I'm interested in both (and the canon xf100 amongst others) but i can't find any informed opinion (people who have tested both!). What I want to say is, I understand that the xa10 has a bigger sensor than the ac90 but I believe that whilst the ac90 has smaller sensors, it has 3 and they are backlit. what does that mean? i dunno. I've yet to see as there are very few quality reviews of the ac90 ( at least in real situations like weddings etc).
Like many others I am looking for a video camera to complement my dslr. I have always loved the canon image so my heart leans towards a xa10 but the ac90 looks more practical, 3 rings, more buttons and controls. other cameras are more expensive and i don't think the economy here allows me to spend more on a camera.
has anyone actually used both? would anyone be willing to do a comparison test? if someone would they would obviously be considered 'a legend' by me and many others! ;)
