audio settings on ex1r for receptions

i have been setting my audio channels one auto, one manual and have found the manual is worse.
but there are other settings in audio settings that can be set. whoever shoots alot of weddings/receptions input appreciated. main concern is that reception music especially bands are loud as hell. sometimes ive gotten bad audio.
thanks

Jim,
I shoot with a EX1R. You say manual is worse. So what is auto?

You are a bit vague?

Re: audio settings on ex1r for receptions

sorry al,
audio with agc limiter on, is ok.
on manual i turned it down quite a bit, but it was overmodulated, i guess i could put it down even lower and raise it in post,
i know there are some different manual settings in the audio settings menu, havent messed with them
