Happy Festivus

Seasons greetings to all videographers, cinematographers, filmmakers, or anyone else who frequently finds themselves aiming a video camera at a bride. Hope you get at least half a day off from editing and that Santa put something made by Zeiss in your stocking.

Re: Happy Festivus

Thanks Adrian

Yes, a very Merry Christmas and a great New Year to all on this forum.

I'm at least having the next two days off but cos Christmas was mid-week I'm shooting a wedding on both Saturdays between Christmas and New Year and THEN I have 2 weeks break in January

Hope everyone has a great time and gets a little bit of relaxation in!

Chris

Re: Happy Festivus

Happy Xmas everyone - I was filming in virtually a hurricane yesterday and filming again on Saturday - but come January I'm having 2 weeks well deserved rest in the sun!

Re: Happy Festivus

Happy Festivus to you Adrian. Will you be having the Feats of Strength and the airing of grievences? What about the aluminium pole?
Festivus for the rest of us!

Re: Happy Festivus

Happy Holidays to all, indeed!

I had put this video on another page (C100 related) but it's actually probably more relevant here as a 'Happy Holidays' card to dvinfo:

(Video was made by splicing together single folks/small groups in a school into the full montage you see/hear -- a ton of fun to make! -- and made easier by the kids staying in rhythm/pitch, more or less.

Re: Happy Festivus

Happy Festivus Adrian (and all), I think the airing of grievances would be too long if some still photographers were included. So what I wish for is that Tariq Peter have nicer clients next year (although I have learned a lot vicariously through him). I don't post much but I do visit here often and want to thank you all for your experience and insight.
