DVD Printer recommendations Epson XP-620

I currently have an Epson Photo R280 that has been perfect for me but is dying a slow death. I have been looking at the Epson Expression XP-620 as a replacement. Reviews are mixed for the newer 620. Have you used it?

So far the $100 printers have worked great and usually last me about 4 years or so. I'm defintely not interested in a commercial model. Thanks for your feedback.

I just bought one and it's been working just fine. At first I thought something was wrong with it but learned that you need to clip the DVD into the holder. Alignment and color was spot on out of the box.

Thanks, Jim. I will probably go pick one up today. I must buy something soon, and it's on sale everywhere right now. I'm thinking they might be phasing it out.

I bought one together with a CISS.. it works great. I do adjusted a little bit of the color tone to my liking.

Epson Vivid
Bright -5
Contrast +10
Saturation +25

That's for photo printing.

Re: DVD Printer recommendations Epson XP-620

I was in the same situation...I have two Epson 220 printers that have served me well over the years. I picked up an Epson 610 from Best Buy for $60.00 over black Friday. They have had it on sale 2 more times since then at the same price. I'm not sure what the differences are between the 610 and 620, but I'm sure you will be happy with the 620. The 610 is faster printing CDs than the older Epson's and as a bonus...the scanner works quicker than my older Epson scanner.

I have the 620 and I'm happy with it. I had to adjust the head positions at the beginning to get it working properly but after that it's been fine.
