Canon longer range

Any thoughts or advice on lens change or swap.
Got 70-200 2.8 sigma os and superb on full frame
Got 24-70 2.8 tamron vc superb on full frame
Got 17-55 2.8 is but crop lens superb good light
Got canon 50mm 1.4 fantastic low light but no is. So frustrating
The low light 1.4 is amazing on full frame but no is and a tripod is out as it's fast and furious first dance and before and after dark venues and dingy UK churches
I have tried all? Monopod , chest pod, handheld zacuto pressed to eye and shoulder rig but the lens still jittery.
Lights are out, just want to get this 50mm stabilised?? As it's top draw when steady.
Any thoughts on getting it really steady, I am not bad but jittery.
Would love a 85/100mm 1.4/1.6/8 stabilised lens but none out there yet!!

Re: Canon longer range

I don't understand how it's jittery on a monopod. The only issue I ever have with a monopod is weaving on long takes but it should never be jittery.

Re: Canon longer range

whatever happened to this?

Canon 50mm f/1.4 IS On the Way, Will Be Fastest Stabilized Lens in Lineup

For me when the lights go down I use the same Tamron 24-70 2.8 - great with the A7s and sees me through the darkest evening receptions.

Steve i thought you had an A7s? there are a few Zeiss primes that will suit - I believe these are stabilised with E-mount such as the A7

Pete it was on order then they never got it in and have been so busy I have just carried on as normal.
I am waiting for A7sii.
Niger believe me I get jitters on everything with no is.
Everything is spot on apart from very low light. Pete if tamron 24-70 good with A7S then I am eagerly awaiting that cam

Zeiss 85mm f1.8 full frame with stabilisation - consider this when you get your A7s
