I tend to shoot lots of the broll at 60p. Detail shots, some parts getting ready. Most of the bridal photo shoot I will as well. Anything without people where there's sufficient light for 1/125th shutter. Sometimes I'll shoot part of the dancing in 60p as well.
60p can always be played in real time on a 24p timeline, but it's not ideal. I can spot it, but I'm not sure if it's a huge deal as I doubt clients would notice or care. I've also started shooting a lot of the processional with one stationary camera shooting 24p, and a handheld one with a longer lens shooting it in 60p. Mostly for some slow mo highlight shots if need be. |
