Theater event pricing
I want to add digital download through vimeo on my video order form. How do I price it in a simple way that doesn’t under cut physical media?
My current order form: . dvd $25 . usb flash $35 . dvd & usb $40 |

Re: Theater event pricing
A digital download should be cheaper then all the rest because you either don't have to make a dvd menu and do prints or you don't have to buy a flashdrive, you have to add the costs from your vimeo account but that still won't add up more then the usb flash option.
Personally if you are already offering a usb flash drive I would not offer a download option. If you want to offer a download option I'd leave the usb flash drive out and ask for a fixed price to shoot the event + add a cost per dvd for those that still want that option. In this case you"ll prevent people scr*wing you by sharing the download link or sharing the file (and believe me, they will) and you"ll make some bonus money on dvd sales. |
