Song Licensing

Im going to be starting my business soon but im looking into everything that I question.

So when doing a wedding or any video for that matter, is it required that I purchase a license to use that song or songs?

Thanks in advance and I would really love to chat with someone who has their own business about how they went about doing things. If you would be at all interested I would really appreciate it and we could talk on AIM or by email. Thanks again and hope to hear from you guys soon.

There is a lengthy debate under the thread "Using copyrighted music for weddings"
