Strange motion blur/ghosty image on DV

Hi, i m using vegas 6 and i converted some HDV footage to DV codec and i used virtualdub to check it;s progressive 25FPS , and not matter how i set at the vegas ( progressive/lower field/upperfield) it's still have a ghosty image from previous frame. it lookd like a motion blur and i dont know why i cant take it out

i suspect that becasue i chnage the frame rate ( i used DVHScap and it was in wrong -- from VJC GYHD101E it captures at 50FPS.
so i use virtualdub to correct it to make the audio sync at 25.021FPS

anyone have idea how to deal with it??

Odds are that you reversed fields or inserted fields in the conversion. If this is the case, you'll need to reconvert, if you've rendered fields in the incorrect order or inserted fields into a progressive stream. Anything else will cost you resolution.

after i disable sampling then it's OK

BTW which article you mention u do most job on Vegas, even u can use avid and FCP? i always try to find this article to show to my students

HD Magazine did an interview with me in which I mention I prefer Vegas over Avid or FCP, even though I'm certified in all of them.
For me....they're just tools. I happen to prefer Vegas. Every award I've received, stemmed from a project created in Vegas. Every project I've ever finished really fast....was done in Vegas.
FCP and Avid are both good tools, but due to their need for very broad use, they aren't very deep. Somewhat like good business; either you're vertical or horizontal in the market if you want to get along. Try doing both, and generally it doesn't work. In Vegas, it works.

Whomever has led you to believe this is simply nuts, if you're referring to Media Composer or Xpress.
mixed resolutions/frame rates/file types are not possible without conforming.
Various compositing tools not existent.
Audio is terrible/virtually non-existent by comparison.
Streaming output of any value? Forget it.
MPEG tools? AVCHD tools? DVD Authoring? Non-existent.
Color correction tools (stock, not add-ons) are not as robust.
Marquee is quite a bit better, however. :-)
