Move markers with events?
Hi All,
As the title says...how do you do it? I searched the forums here but no luck. I'm using Vegas 4.0e, and the online help doesn't mention it either. There has to be a way/workaround. Anybody? Thanks, Ken |

It's been a long time since I used V4 but I don't think that feature has changed over the years.
Look into the AutoRipple options for the one labeled "All Tracks, Markers and Regions" or look under the Edit menu (in Vegas 7 anyway) for "Post-Edit Ripple" (Ctrl + Shift + F). |

I still have V4d installed. So yours is more up-to-date.
In V4 I used to use Auto Ripple Edit. Markers "stuck like glue" to the Events I'd move - still does. As to . . Well, I just enter the two words, "Move Markers" into the Online Help Search option and it came back with: Move Events > Move Multiple events along Timeline > Auto Ripple ( click the icon link )> Post Edit Ripple Automatically > "Affect All , Markers, and regions" It IS there, but it IS kinda deep-down! Hope this helps? Grazie |
