Sony Setup directory

Just curious to know if the Sony Setup directory can be removed.

It's name suggests that it is used at installation time and it's full of mostly cabs. Safe to ditch or vital it stays? All my previous Vegas incarnations are in there as well as DVDA, Sound Forge etc. I like a tidy house!

Yes, you can delete them.

They do have an advantage that if you need to reinstall Vegas, you can run the setup.exe file in the folder rather than rummage around for the installation disk etc.

Hmmm . . . thinking about it, re-installs of Vegas seem to be the answer to all manner of problems! Maybe I'll keep them for now . . .

Thanks, John.
