Cineform has many different versions. I use Vegas, and NeoHDV works for me. As to Vegas, it provides a codec updated, and a capture utility (HDLink). Cost about $250 US. The Codec is used to capture in HDLink, and to render in Vegas.

NeoHDV captures and codec are available, as I recall, in Premieire to. However, for premeire users, Cineform also provides another program, I think it is still called aspect, the ads various real time capabilities and editing enhancements to Premiere. It was around $500.00 last time I looked.

Don't use encore, so don't know what up there.
