there are 2 things I can think of.
1) in Vegas try to mask it in the Pan/Crop window
2) bring the logo into a photoeditor like Photoshop and work it there. Either a mask, or copy and paste into a new layer and use the magic wand to kill off the background or the eraser. I prefer the mask.

couldn't you just chroma key out the background color, I assume its a solid color?

In Vegas you could take the white out with the Secondary Color Corrector but white exists in a lot of places and Photoshop, in my opinion, is a better choice. Send it out as PNG if you are using Vegas.

Not seeing the logo... I agree with using Photoshop. Very easy and quick to do.

TIP: Once you have got the PNG back into Vegas you need to make the Alpha=Tranparent channel active/live:

GO: Right Click on Still-Logo Event > Properties > Media Tab > Alpha Channel (down there at the bottom) > Down Menu Arrow and select EITHER Premultiplied OR Premultiplied (dirty) > click OK

. . . and what WAS your Alpha channel colour in your graphics package should have carried thru' to Vegas. You should immediately SEE the difference 'cos your Logo SHOULD be sitting on a "check" background, and that tells you you have a transparent background.

Grazie
