Any HVX-200 users?

Are there any Vegas users that also are using the HVX-200 out there? What version of Vegas are you using and what are your experiences? I'm thinking of purchasing a new camcorder and I want to still edit in Vegas. Looked at version 6 and it doesn't look like it will support 720 -24P or DVCPRO HD. What about versions 7 or 8? I know about the Sony so don't...

Raylight will allow you to drop the native MXF files right into a timeline. Cineform allows you to convert them to the Cineform intermediate. I have been editing a project this way for the past couple weeks (Vegas 7.0e) and it works great. I get real time on a Centrino Duo 1.6ghz laptop and a USB2 HDD with the preview settings even while running some curves or CC.
