External Histogram available?

On another tack, does anyone know if there's an external Histogram available that's compatable with VMS Platinum 8c ?

Cheers.

What do you mean by an external histogram?

Thanks Glenn. I mean an add on program that features a Histogram that will operate well in VMS Platinum 8c.

Regards

There are no plugins for histogram display for Vegas Movie Studio that I'm aware of. There are applications that can show you a histogram of the file, but they're stand-alone apps.
Vegas Pro 8 (and earlier versions) have histogram display capability.

Thanks Douglas; none for VMS that I've found either.

I've been looking around for any suitable standalones but no luck. Do you know of any?

There's a histogram plugin for VirtualDub, but, it doesn't work as a standalone(without Vdub anyway)

In VMS, can't you do view --> Video Scopes shortcut = crtl + alt + 2

?

(I don't have VMS so I can't check.)

2- I don't know of any software programs that will do it.

You could get an external vectorscope/waveform monitor with a RGB parade... but that's four-five figures to purchase one. That wouldn't make sense (get Vegas Pro instead).
