Upgrade Magic Bullet Looks HD (bundled with Vegas 7)

Thought I'd share a nice little bit of news.

Seeing as the new Magic Bullets Looks 1.1 has now been released for Vegas I will mention that I was able to purchase it for the upgrade price of $99 from the Red Giant website.

My version of Vegas Video 7 came bundled with a light version of Magic Bullet Looks HD and after a pre-sales email with Dave Vieira at Red Giant he confirmed that this bundled version would qualify me for the low cost upgrade.

So anyone out there who had Vegas 7 with Looks HD and wants to upgrade to the new version (which is pretty damn nice btw) should be able to do the same I would think.

Guess this boils down to two things....Vegas rocks.....Red Giant rocks.

Upgrade $99 for v8 Vegas users

Just to confirm the $99 upgrade for MB Looks works if you started with Vegas version 8. ie it works whether you had v7 or v8.

Fantastic !!!!!

word of caution, I went and downloaded the new MB looks in prep to purchase. come to find out my video card couldn't handle it, had to actually put together another computer which had the motherboard which could handle a new video card, I settled on a radeon 2600 gt 512 mb ram and this one is probably bare minmum for looks. MB LOOKS 1.1 definitely has video card minimums, friend of mine had same problem

I was on red giants web site, no mention of Magic Bullet movie looks being compatible with Vegas. Do you have a link?

http://www.redgiantsoftware.com/prod...-bullet-looks/ "Now includes Sony Vegas 8 support " - Right hand edge of page . . .halfway down.

I'm using it as part of a Vegas Pro workflow.

Get a demo and try it?

Grazie
