How can I replace the clip an event references?

I have an event on the timeline, and I want to replace it with a different avi file, but leave the event untouched except for it source. I know I can delete it and replace it, or delet the source and force an Offline Message, but can I just change it the avi that the event references?

Paul, see if this works for you.
Right-click the event in the Media Pool and select "Replace".
Browse to the folder where the new event is and double-click it.

Another way is to open the new AVI in Trimmer, set In/Out point, drag/drop over the Event and choose “Add As Takes”.

I'm almost certain that will work. :) Don't know how I missed that, I did right click. Thanks.
