Yeah, I'm kinda in the same place as Dale here?

Is it you want to to have:

A] A Boat moving across the frame trailing ClipA into ClipbB?

or ..

B] The outline of a boat that that takes the viewer's eye into the next clip?

or . . .

C] . . . ..

In any event have a go woth this FREE download and play around with it. You can use your OWN bitmap lask or even a video!

Grazie

Marcus,

I have not done this so I wait for grazie's response!! However: It would seem to me you could
1. make a mask, perhaps using the secondary color corrector, or photoshop
2. place image in a top video track
3. use track motion to move it across the screen.
4. place the clip above the transition of the clip below
5. adjust opacity to fade in and out>

Grazie, I wait for your cool ideas!!!

Here's how I would attempt it:

Track 2 -> have the clip A transition to clip B and use a WIPE transition

now on Track 1 -> Have the "boat" go across the screen covering the wipe position.
