Creating an OMF in Vegas

I just finished a video project and my sound guy wants an OMF file to do the sound mix and doing a some research online it scares me to see that Vegas 8.0 does not support OMF's.

Is their anyway around this? How do Vegas users get a professional sound mix without an OMF?

Thanks in advance,
O.D.

I think the guy who shot Corrado had to deal with this issue as well. OMF seems to be the file type of choice for ProTools. I don't remember how the issue was solved, but I think ProTools can work with more than OMF files, so ask the guy what other formats he can import and use.

Perrone, ya he's using Pro Tools.

Anyone know of another format (similar to an OMF) I can render out of Vegas to be mastered in Pro Tools?

Oliver, an Australian company just released a product called AATranslator that might be worth a look, especially considering the $39 price tag.
ProTools support is promised but not yet available :-(

ProTools version 5 offers pretty much all OMF v2 (and way more than OMI v1) can offer).
I'm a beta tester/cog/ contributor to the fastest developing DAW, session conversion program available; see AATranslator - Home Page

We already write/ read to Vegas just fine, rather well actually, from loads of formats.
And the next major addition is ProTools support.
