Edward, do you know if I can install the trial of Vegas 5 side by side with my curent Vegas 4, and still use Vegas 4 OK? Would like to know just in case I don't upgrade straight away and need to continue using Vegas 4.
Cheers Aaron |
I think I can answer this one- as I asked the same basic question on another thread. Yes- it installs as a separate program. You can have an operational Vegas 4 and 5 on the same computer without problems.

Thanks Glen.

Yes. I currently have Vegas 4, DVDA 1, Vegas 5, and DVDA 2 all running on one computer.

Today is the day all right. Today is the day for a busy-all-the-time 800 number and S-L-O-O-O-W downloads. Took me forever to download the whole package.
Looks like some money is being made today! |
Contour Shuttle Pro?
Can't get it to work in Vegas 5 .. works in Vegas 4 . . . Edward, any ideas?
TIA Grazie |
Can honestly say I haven't tested that yet. Do you have Vegas 5 set up in the contour control panel??? You'll probably need to export your Vegas 4 settings and then import them into the Vegas 5 program in the Contour control panel. There's also some Contour Shuttle Pro settings in the C:\program files\sony\vegas 5.0 folder.

Thanks Edward . . That did it . .I saw "Vegas50.exe has Focus" and thought okey dokey! BUT that was half the story . . of course . . . I had to go rummage around in the folder to give CSP the profiles . . HAHAH!
I'll get onto the TRIAD of Wizards soon - yeah? Do you need to email me with anything? TIA Grazie |
