Did I buy a DEMO?

I just bought and installed Vegas 5 + DVD2. Every time I attempt to open the DVD it tells me to register online, which I do, then it tells me it expires in 28 days! What gives? Bob Safay

Contact Tech Support. They can help you out. For some reason your registration is not "taking". They should be able to walk you through fixing it.

I seem to recall this happening to somebody and the problem ended up being they didn't have "write" permission to that key in the registry. So you might want to try that first.

Edward, I tried it all and nothing. Then I get the idea. I remove every bit of information pertaining to the DVD2 on my computer. I download the program from the web, put in my serial number and now it all seems to work. I will still call Sony in the morning. Bob

Good to hear a reinstall got it working. Never hurts to double-check with customer service, though. However, if it doesn't give you that warning any more, I'd say you are fine.

The Magic Bullet film looks on the disk did not load properly. I had to load it from the Sony site.

Just an informational.
