It worked Edward !!

I removed the Mackie Control in the MIDI section and the FX Buttons work fine.

Are you aware of any issues with the Mackie Control and Vegas? I am using operating system 2.1.2 of the Mackie Control which is the latest.

Thanks,

Ray

I am not aware of any specific issues with the Mackie controller. In fact, it is one that is specifically supported. The reason I suggested that was your error message was referencing the the mackie controller as causing the error. Perhaps DSE would have more advice as he has actually used a mackie controller.

Edward:

Do you think I should try experimenting with the Mackie Control assigned on different MIDI channels? I ahd it assigned to MIDI Channel 3 when the error happened.

I'm really unsure as I've never used one. Sure wouldn't hurt to try, though.
