Audio in DVD Architect
I havde been renedering the video on Vegas Pro 8.0 c successfully. When I am ready to create the dvd in DVD architect 5 I always get the message that the audio will be compressed. I use 5.1 audio in Vegas. The final outcome of the video has the audio levels lower than the timeline in vegas. Is there any settings to be changed. I have not changed any settings to my knowledge. Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks |

Are you rendering them out as WAV files or AC3 files?

I stole this from Edwards newsletter. I set this preset up so long ago I forgot the exact instructions but this will do it.
When rendering to AC3 format, the volume will be automatically reduced. If you wish to prevent this from happening, make the following setting changes: Change the dialog normalization to -31 On the PreProcessing tab, change both the Line mode profile and RF mode profile to NONE. Also something I got from Spot a long time ago, before you render go to the MASTER BUS and in the non-realtime FX and go to Track Compressor set it to -6db and then go to Wave Hammer and set it to "Master to 16 Bit"
