Apple ProRes 422 HQ

I'm thinking of purchasing the Ki Pro, which renders out to this family of codecs that are native to FCP.
I know that Vegas will not be able to render out ProRes, which is not an issue to me, but I am curious to know if any of you Vegas users have edited ProRes in Vegas, and what were your experiences?

Cuts pretty much like any other decent .mov file. Playback speed is slow, but other than that it's ok.

How would you rate it versus cutting HDV?

The two limiting factors in cutting HDV are the version of Vegas and the CPU power.

I can get several streams of HDV to play in real time. Not so with .mov files of any flavor.

Cheers for the feedback.
