Interlacing

When "rendering as" for the use of DVD Architect, what kind of interlacing is appropriate? Lower field first? Upper field first? None?

Specifically, I am trying to burn a 24p Sony EX-3 video to an NTSC DVD, not for my own use. So, I am rendering it as 29.970 fps, but I am unclear as to what interlacing method is expected.

NTSC is generally lower field first.
