You'll be able to talk to SCS personnel one week from today - on the NAB floor. It's already been announced that 9.0d will be demo'd next week. Go see it, see what changes have been made, and make your voice heard about what you'd like to see added/changed. Next week is a major opportunity to talk to people who do make decisions about the future of Vegas. Don't miss out on that opportunity!

I wish I could go. Sadly, the economy is tough right now, and I can't afford it out of pocket, and my employer just got out of a 3 year hiring freeze a couple of months ago. Our budgets have been cut over 25% in the past two years and we've lost staff without the ability to hire new staff.

Travel to Vegas is out of the question for me. I hope others who are going will bring up these issues.

IMO lack of hardware support has been a glaring omission for the last couple of verions, and I feel DVDA (with it's embarrasingly childish looking templates) could also use some updating. Can anyone explain why you cannot return to the main menu instantly after accessing your video through the chapter selection feature with a DVD made with DVDA? That has got to be among the dumbest things I've seen in a while.
