Removing audio from video

I just need to remove audio while still leaving the video. Is there a way to seperate the two and completely delete the audio track? Any help would be appreciated.

That's my problem. For some reason when I try to select just the audio it includes the video as well.

Select the audio track - Press "U" to ungroup the audio from the video and then delete the audio clip.

Josh, you didn't follow Michael's instructions correctly. He said to delete the audio track; not the events on the audio timeline, there is a difference. That means deleting the track itself. Then your video will not be affected. You go to the left side of the window to the "home" portion of the individual track are located and click, making sure it is the only track selected, then right click and select "delete track".

You can also use the other mentods described. You should familiarize your self with the icons on your toolbar also...there is a "ignore event grouping" button which is very handy,

The suggestion to use the U key is excellent of course.
