Missing thumbnails on timeline Vegas 10

I upgraded from Vegas 8 to 10 so maybe something changed or an option added, although I can't find anything about it. When I put 1080-60i video clips on the timeline, only occassionally does the timeline show a thumbnail of the video clip. The beginning of the event will have the thumbnail, then lots of white to the next thumbnail, which might be 8 minutes down the timeline. The event plays properly. How can I display more thumbnails or is this now the normal timeline display?

Thanks.

Thanks Mike, I knew I was missing something. I don't recall ever choosing this option in any version of Vegas until 10. Maybe I just stayed with the default and never noticed it until now.

David, "Head, Center, Tail" became the new default in Pro 9 and initially caused a lot of confusion until folks figured out what was happening.
