I liked the new skin well enough - looks nice, but, really, just an updated look is not so exciting. But nice.

However! The Node Flow map is a pretty interesting function, and one that I'd like to see. I've found that I'm using the new v10 function that allows you to put the pan/crop filter anywhere in your chain you want (at least I think it's new...), would love to see a single interface element that allows you to chain track motion, pan/crop, filters, and especially parent/child relationships!

Seth,

I agree!!! I actually was surprised you couldn't chain them when I started using them!!

It totally makes sense!!! Could have used it this last week!!

the look is alright, but I do not really care one way or another.

Just picture this:

you take a clip and add an effect but ( here comes the new) you can put a mask that just mess with the effect not the clip!!!

actually the only software that do this is Fusion or Nuke, Not even after can do this.. in after you must Duplicate the clip in another channel add the effect and mask the clip... this process eat all your ram!

thinking this way it would be great we can mask effects directly!

thinka about a node matrix panel were you have a tools like Path masks, Paint masks, range masks, imported vectpor mask ( eps, ai, corel,).. and all of them rotoscopable!

think about divide de monitor screeen on a "A B" style but you can see the border line for difference!

Think abou a new interfase that "says" to all those people "VEGAS IS A REALLY PRO APP GUYS"

im just dreaming..

(sorry for my english)

you know what I'd like in V12...screw it - V11: A Sony PCIe output card w/HDMI and Component/SVHS out! Sony makes computers, and broadcast hardware. They should be able to make dedicated cards for Vegas so we don't have to rely on a pittance of 3rd party manufactures!

Would be nice Mike. Douglas Spotted Eagle pointed out once that the different divisions don't collaborate as you would hope. They are like separate companies.

Adrian,

your english is a lot better than my spanish!!!

I would vote for your ideas!!!

Also, a a dedicated vegas hdmi input/output card!!!! It seems to be the future!!

also capable of dealing with Edius high quality renders which 8 and 9 did and 10 does not!! I guess you would say more codec friendly.
