Interlacing Woes? Suggestions
Would you please look at this video and tell me how to prevent the interlace issues? Is there a plug in, a better property setting?
notice the hands beating on the drums. I had the properties set at progressive, No blend. MPEG 4, 5mps bitrate. Thanks Anyone tell me how to embed this on here... I have a Plus acct

Hi David
Apart from the fact that Vimeo has taken the video down, I usually just render the footage using the Sony AVC preset (.mp4) and if you are wanting HD video (1280x720) then use the Internet Video template. For SD video I just use the default template and create a custom size of 640x360 and they both work fine!! Bear in mind that the HD template will create a clip that is around 300mb for around 10 minutes..the SD versions are usually around 80mb for 10 minutes. There is no reason to set the interlacing in Properties as Vegas will strip the interlacing and automatically render the clip as Progressive with an aspect of 1 Chris |
