Studio Poject into Pro 10 - Help!!

I did a documentary in Studio HD 10 and recently upgraded to Pro10. I've delivered the polished 6 minute web version and now wanted to go back to the 6 shootings and the final project to grab clips.

Opening up the final project for the 6 minute video it said it couldn't find the media - the media is in the same place it was before but I painstalingly re-pointed on load the files and after I'd finished going through the repoint it pops up a error message saying it could find the codecs it needed and liosted severl of the files from the project.

and the project simply did not load at all - not even partially....any ideas on a good way to load studio 10 HD projects into Pro 10 painlessly?

Hi

The easiest thing might be to just install MovieStudio again, they work along side each other just fine.

What format are the files?

Regards

Try moving the files to a new place so they can't be found. Then open the project and see if it will let you reconnect to the files in the new location.

I didn't think that MovieStudio HD projects were compatible with Pro projects, or am I mis-reading something here?

.vf files will load OK into Vegas Pro providing they are from the same or a lower numerical version of Studio. .veg files will not load in any version of Studio though.

I assumed that I'd have to load in my .vf studio projects and them save them back out as .veg Pro projects.
I suppose the reinstall of studio would work but didn't expect problem loading the vf and saving out the veg
