Warning about saving projects in Vegas 11
I don't mean to be alarmist, but their appears to be a very serious bug with Vegas 11.
I strongly suggest saving previous projects in 10 NOT 11 until you are sure what you can and can't do. My experience is that I cannot get even ten seconds of a render done when rendering to 720p, using a template I've used many times in V10. To test things out with a previous project, open a V10 project with V11, and then save the project under a NEW name so that your original project is safe, then try your render. Keep your original Vegas 10 veg file. Do not edit in 11 and save and expect to be able to render your project until you've tested it first. I have rendered 1080p with no issue, as least a 5 minute project, but 720p, won't work, at least no now. I've reduced # of rendering threads to 8, and lowered preview ram, to no avail.
