Vegas 13 and Excalibur

I've toyed with getting Excalibur for a few years now but have decided I need it.

Edward, what is the state of the play with it and Vegas 13?

Excalibur works great in Vegas Pro 13. Please do make sure you have installed the newest build, though.

Here's the current installer:

http://www.jetdv.com/scripts/Excalibur6-0-8.exe

So it's version 6.0.8.

Re: Vegas 13 and Excalibur

Ok...so I have it installed...went to view>extensions>Excalibur and it opens in a window...
...selected 'timeline', put the curor at a appropriate point, but all options are greyed out...
...and it doesn't appear as a tab in the docking area...

Re: Vegas 13 and Excalibur

You will need to dock it as desired. It will dock wherever you choose to dock it.

If the options are grayed out, you need to activate it. After activating, please exit and restart Vegas.

Re: Vegas 13 and Excalibur

I've received my Excalibur license key, cut and pasted it into the Registration Key window, and saved it.

Then I restarted Vegas and opened Excalibur from View>Extensions.

In the About tab, all the items are listed as 'demo'...but it is no longer demo...??

Also, I've put it on the toolbar, but the Excalibur window does not lock anywhere...just floats all the time...

Re: Vegas 13 and Excalibur

Renton, you will need to send me the details (including the serial number you used) via e-mail.

To get a floating window to dock, you have to hold down the Control key. They used to dock automatically unless you held down the Control key. In Vegas Pro 13, they changed it so they don't dock automatically unless you hold the CTRL key.
