Re: Is Magix still in business?
Glad to hear you back up and running. I always blame Bill Gates if things go wrong. 😃 He was the one who first got me into computers a hundred years ago.
Yes. This Bondi shooting thing is pretty bad. 15 dead so far. We are about 20-30 minutes from Bondi so not too close to us. Bondi is an eastern beaches suburb. We are near Manly. A famous northern beaches suburb. Bondi and Manly always via for being the best tourist spot. Thank goodness we don't see to many of these mass shootings. The last one we had was back in 1996. Interestingly I notice the NYT did a piece on it today. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/12/14/w...-shooting.html Anyhow. On to more cheery things. Have a good Christmas and New Year. 🎄🎄🎄 Chis Young |

Re: Is Magix still in business?
Yup!
I've just registered with them and will check out Vegas Pro 2026. If stability issues have been fixed, and it truly supports CUDA hardware efficiently I can see a path forward. Had high hopes with Magix but all they did was bang in more features and failed to work on the 100% requirement of bug fixes and stability. That along with the lacklustre hardware support was what made me drift away, and I signed up with Vegas v2.0 back in 2020. Chris Young. |
