Sony sponsored a great get-together last year at the NAB. Anything planned for this year ?

Yes, Monday the 16th, an email will be going out to those on the VASST mailing list later on today.
DVInfo.net is one of the sponsors, so you'll see something about it here as well. This year it goes far beyond just Vegas users, and is catering to all video editors, shooters, and other folks in the industry. If you thought last year was great, this year is gargantuan!

DSE, Loved your skydive video shot at the Grand Canyon. I really liked when they "skimmed off the top and kicked up some snow" Excellent.
