Can only render as DV?
Sorry for the noob question, but I must be losing my mind. Selecting "File->Render as" only shows DV templates, no MPEG or divX or anything else. Is there a setting somwhere in Preferences that I'm forgetting? TIA.
P.S. I'm still on Vegas6... |

You need to look in the "Save as type" drop-down.

Thanks, I'm not sure what that'll do. You can save-as vegas project, edl, and AAF, that's all I get to see.
I just went back to Render-as, selected Custom, and then saw the Video format dropdown in Video tab. It must have been a mental block... :( Thanks - Roman. |

Yeah, it's the "Save as type" in the "Render As" dialogue box.
