How do you selectively pre render in 24p???

Can anyone please please tell me the best and most successful way to selectively pre render 24p footage on the timeline.

When I select the option as recommended in the manual (3.2.2 pulldown etc) the screen aspect ratio changes when you view the pre-rendered stuff. I'm fed up with building RAM previews as this is the only trouble free method so far!

I'd love to hear your project settings, video capture methods and then what you do to have trouble free pre-render use.

I use Cineform Connect HD to capture.

Thanks

Hi Stuart, I selectively prerender also, but I use the 24p template period. Here is a link to what I wrote about the prerendering. I don't know if it will help you, but here it is anyway. http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...vely+prerender
