Tell others how easy it is to make documentary films and then list all your high end equipment.

Great post!

Ouch, especially the part " She messed up her lines... Did you forget to hit record?"

Answer: "No, I even hit record TWICE!"

Fusion needs to be a DVinfo sponsor. I got my EX1R from them and most of my after-purchase accessories including a XQD card.

If you're in Vancouver, they're worth checking out.

Hmm, thanks Jack, I'll have to put them on our hit-up list.

I'm disappointed that they didn't mention that all you need is an iPhone and a steady hand.

I think you are close on your characterization of an I-phone and steady hand, Ed. Some would say all you need is an I-phone!

I'm only guilty of, like, half of those.

So far.

Re: Explained: How To Be A Filmmaker

Making your wife groan isn't always a bad thing.

Listing examples of how it would be a good thing is an inappropriate use of this board, however.

Re: Explained: How To Be A Filmmaker

Hilarious! Reminds me of something from an earlier, much simpler era of "videotography" - Compy Comp?

Thanks
