Sony Ex1 xdcam files to avid??

Hello,
i am looking to have a sony ex1 xcam camcorder and i want to know which avid can handle these files.
I think Media Composer but who is the last one?

If you are buying the latest version of Media Composer then you will have no problems at all with the EX footage and Avid. Just copy the BPAV folder to a hard drive and use AMA linking in Avid. Literally Avid does the rest which is basically nothing except make a bin since both Avid and the EX use MXF's.

Since xpress isn't sold anymore and I'm sure you are not getting a Symphony you can't really go wrong with getting the wrong Avid.

I think media composer 3.5 introduced AMA, you should be set.
