Anyone using the Nano with the JVC GY-HM700?

I have a JVC GY HM700 and was considering buying the Nano but cant find footage anywhere or pics anything of it being used with the Nano. Anyone here been here done that? With the 1/3inch chips is it worth it?

Dear Myles,

I have been reading the published specifications.

The nanoFlash will work fine with your camera.

You should be able to record from the HD-SDI output, in 4:2:2 mode, in any of our numerous flavors/bit-rates up to 280 Mbps.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to call me. My phone numbers are listed at the bottom of the following link:

Dear Miles,

could you please post a summary of your findings here?

I own both of them, HM700 and nanoflash, but did not have found the time to test them together yet.

Thank you!
Regards
Dieter

Re: Anyone using the Nano with the JVC GY-HM700?

Dear Miles,

you are right, I could do the testing (for you) and will do so, if I have the time to and the need for it. I am interested in quality and, sorry for that, I wanted to profit from your findings ..

I use the nanoflash to record screen castings (VGA or DVI, scan converter to 720p50) while the HM700 is used to record the speaker.

Regards
Dieter

No worries, I was very much joking. I just know if U had it I would take it out and shoot some test shots with it etc. I am going to order one soon so I WILL post my footage etc.
